Hagarville
About 130 people live in the small community of Hagarville, which sits in rural Johnson County just outside of the Clarksville metro area. I've spent some time trying to research Hagarville, but I haven't really found anything about it or its history. I do know that the town was named after the comic strip Hagar the Horrible (or at least that's what I'm assuming right now).
On a recent trip up to the Ozarks I made a quick stop in Hagarville, which has an interesting collection of old and abandoned buildings.
This was once a general store at one time, it's been abandoned for at least the last few decades.
And one last shot, of a tree defiantly growing up in front of the faded and weathered boards of this old building.
