After leaving Charleston I made one more quick stop on my way home. Just down Hwy. 22 from Charleston is the town of Paris, Arkansas. While this Paris has no Eiffel Tower (or an Eiffel Tower with a cowboy hat on it, like the Paris in Texas), it does have a really nice old courthouse. It was covered in Christmas lights, and they were even festively playing Christmas music.
It was unseasonably warm out that night - a balmy 70 degrees.
And it seems that this will be the last of the pictures of courthouses with Christmas lights on them for awhile now (at least not for another 11 months or so).
